GTS Trading Guide: Buy, Sell & Auction Pokémon

The GTS (Global Trade System) is SquirtleSquadMC’s server-wide Cobblemon market. List a Pokémon or an item for sale and any player can buy it, even while you’re offline. It also has an auction house, buy orders, and a website where you can browse the whole market.

Quick start: Type /gts in game to open the market menu, or /gts help for a clickable list of every command.

Buying

1. Type /gts and choose the Pokémon Market or the Item Market.
2. Browse, sort, or search by name with /gts search [name].
3. Click a listing to see its full details, including what similar Pokémon have recently sold for, then buy it.

Everything you buy goes into your collection box, not straight into your party or inventory. To get it:

• /gts claims collects everything waiting for you at once.
• /gts collection opens the collection box so you can take things one at a time.

You can’t buy your own listings.

Selling

Pokémon: Type /gts sell to open a picker. Choose a Pokémon from your party or your PC, pick a fixed price or an auction, and set your price. To skip the picker, type /gts sell [price] [slot] to sell the Pokémon in that party slot (1–6).

Items: Type /gts sellitem to pick an item from your inventory or ender chest, or hold the item and type /gts sellitem [price].

Not sure what to charge? /gts getprice shows the average sale price of the item in your hand. Add a party slot (/gts getprice 1) or a species name (/gts getprice pikachu) to check a Pokémon instead.

Managing your listings:

• /gts mine shows your active listings and lets you cancel them. A cancelled listing goes back to your collection box.
• A listing that expires without selling is also returned to your collection box.
• /gts sales shows what sold, who bought it and for how much, including sales made while you were offline.

The money from your sales waits in your collection box too, so remember to run /gts claims. If something sells while you’re offline, you’re told about it the next time you join.

Auctions

Type /ah to open the Auction House.

• Start an auction: choose Auction in the /gts sell picker, or type /ah sell [start] [buyout] [hours] to auction your first party Pokémon. /gts auction [start] [buyout] [hours] [slot] lets you pick the party slot.
• Bid: click an auction, or type /ah bid [id] [amount]. Your bid money is held while you’re the highest bidder. If someone outbids you, it’s refunded and you’re notified.
• Buy out: /ah buyout [id] buys an auction instantly at its buyout price.

Buy Orders

Looking for something specific? Post a buy order and let sellers come to you.

• /gts buyorder opens a builder. Pick a species and optional conditions such as shiny, minimum perfect IVs, level, nature or ability, then set your price and how many you want. You can also post buy orders for items.
• Or type /gts buyorder [species] [price] [quantity].
• The money for your order is held until the order is filled or you cancel it. /gts cancelorder [id] cancels it and refunds whatever hasn’t been spent.

Have something someone wants? /gts buyorders lists open orders. Click an order to fill it with a matching Pokémon from your party (or a matching item from your inventory, for item orders), or use /gts fill [id], and you get paid.

The GTS Website

gts.squirtlesquadmc.com shows the whole market live: every listing with full stats (IVs, EVs, nature, moves and more), auctions, price history, analytics and top traders.

Sign in: type /gts link in game to get a code (click it to copy), then enter it on the website’s Profile page. Once you’re signed in, you can:

• Buy listings, bid on auctions and buy them out
• Cancel your own listings and buy orders
• Collect your sale money, which is paid out straight away

Pokémon and items you buy or collect on the website stay in your collection box until you’re online. New listings are created in game.

Trading Face to Face

You can also trade directly with a player who’s next to you, using Cobblemon’s built-in trading. Select a Pokémon, look at the other player and press R, then choose Trade. See the Cobblemon Beginner’s Guide for more controls.
