Cobblemon Commands List & Permissions (1.8.1)

Every Cobblemon 1.8.1 command with its exact syntax, what it does, and its permission node, plus which commands players can use without operator access.

This is a complete list of Cobblemon’s commands for Cobblemon 1.8.1, checked against the official Cobblemon source code. The official wiki’s commands page is out of date, so a number of commands here aren’t listed there.

How to read the syntax: <required> and [optional]. Where a command takes <properties>, type a Pokémon description that starts with its species, for example /givepokemon pikachu.

Permissions for Server Owners

  • Every node above starts with cobblemon.command..
  • Without a permissions mod, Cobblemon uses vanilla permission levels. Commands need level 2 (operator) unless marked level 4, except the three player commands at the top, which need no permission.
  • On Fabric with a permissions mod such as LuckPerms, Cobblemon checks the node first and falls back to the vanilla level if the node isn’t set. For example, granting cobblemon.command.pc lets players open their PC with /pc.
  • Commands that act on another player (such as /healpokemon <player> and /levelup <player> <slot>) need both the .self and the .other node.
